⚾ REMOTE ONE-ONE-ONE INSTRUCTION

Professional pitching instruction wherever you are.

You don’t have to travel to improve your mechanics.

Every missed target, inconsistent pitch, or loss of velocity begins with a movement breakdown.

  • Coach Skip identifies that breakdown by analyzing your pitching delivery frame by frame and teaching your body to move in the proper sequence.
Using Sequence Over Strength™, you’ll learn how each movement prepares the next:
  • Starting Position → Glove Hand → Hips → Front Leg → Throwing Arm

Instead of guessing what’s wrong or trying random drills, you’ll receive personalized instruction based on your own delivery.

Let’s get started

Sequence Over Strength™ Foundation Progression

1. Your Starting Position

Everything in your delivery begins here.

    • Position your feet approximately one baseball width apart.
    • Keep the soles of both feet flat on the ground.
    • Your knees should form a diamond.
    • Your back knee must remain in this position until your glove hand pulls your body forward. This is critical to maintaining balance and allowing your lower body to lead the delivery.
    • Position your glove hand palm directly under your chin.

Hold this position for 1001… 1002… 1003.

Once you can maintain balance without movement, continue to the Front Leg Lift.

2. Your Front Leg Lift

The front leg lift prepares your body to move in sequence.

    • Rotate your front thigh outward.
    • Keep your front knee even with, or slightly ahead of, your front shoulder. This position is critical to your pitching motion.
    • Your front heel finishes even with your back toes.
    • Your front toes point directly toward the plate.

Hold this position for 1001… 1002… 1003, then continue to Separation.

3. Your Separation

This is the position that prepares your body to throw.

    • Move your glove hand palm over your front knee.
    • Keep your glove hand inside your glove elbow.
    • Remove the baseball from your glove.
    • Point your throwing hand palm toward second base.
    • Keep your throwing hand inside your throwing elbow.

Hold this position for 1001… 1002… 1003, then move your front leg behind your back leg and allow your back leg to follow naturally.

This is your throwing position.

You should be able to hold it for 1001… 1002… 1003, then return to your starting position and repeat.

Only when you can consistently balance and control this position are you ready for the next progression.

4. Glove Hand Throw

Perform this drill very slowly at first. Speed comes only after the movement is repeatable.

    • Without moving the rest of your body, move your glove hand palm to the middle of your body.
    • Once your glove hand reaches the middle, turn the glove over so the palm faces the target and bring your elbow behind your body.
    • Finish with your glove hand below your glove elbow.

The glove hand doesn’t simply move across your body; it begins the sequence.

    • This movement prepares the hips to lead, allows the lower body to create direction, and sets up the throwing arm to deliver the baseball.
Master the movement slowly, then gradually increase the speed while maintaining the same sequence.

Now it’s time to send your remote video.

Once You’ve accomplished the above.

  1. Upload your video.
  2. Receive a Complete Mechanical Analysis
Coach Skip reviews your delivery frame by frame to identify the movement causing missed targets, inconsistent command, or inefficient velocity.
  3. Practice the Sequence
Develop repeatable movement patterns that allow your body, not just your arm, to deliver the baseball.
  4. Continue Improving
Submit updated videos for continued feedback and refinements as your mechanics improve.

What You’ll Improve

  • More consistent command
  • Better body control and balance
  • More efficient velocity
  • Improved glove-hand sequencing
  • Better lower-body timing
  • A repeatable pitching delivery
