FREE Instruction When We Can’t Get Your Weight Balanced!

Pro Pitching Institute is one of the top 100 baseball blogs on the Internet.

The best Pitchers have their weight create an environment where they deliver the ball automatically to their target.

Bad Balance

You place your weight over or in front of your Back Foot and your delivery is out of balance.

To hit your target, the only use of your Glove Arm is to keep you closed.

Essentially, your Foot Strike clears your Glove Arm, and your Throwing Arm makes a throwing action.

Your Throwing Hand works alone, and your command gets spotty.

Great Balance

However, placing your weight on the Second Base side of your Back Foot keeps your Body in balance.

To hit your target, your Glove Arm is free to come across your Body and your Lower Body gets involved with your motion.

Almost simultaneously, your Foot Strike pulls your Lower Body forward and your Throwing Hand into release.

You hit your target with uncanny regularity.

Creating Good Balance

Your Feet are placed one baseball width apart and you flared your Knees outward.

At this point, if you don’t straighten your Back Leg, your Back Knee begins over the Little Toes of your Back Foot.

FREE Instruction When We Can’t Get Your Foot Position Right!

Pro Pitching Institute is one of the top 100 baseball blogs on the Internet.

Foot Placement

The right Foot Position promotes your motion’s “balance” and gets your ball to travel directly into your target.

Common Foot Placement

When you place your Feet more than one baseball width apart, you start an adverse sequence of events.

Your Front Foot naturally goes behind your Front Knee and you “balance” your weight over your Back Foot.

With your weight over your Back Foot, your Body uses your Throwing Arm to offset your Stride, your Foot Plants, and you begin your Throwing action.

Your ball rarely goes into your intended target.

Good Foot Placement

Your ideal Front Foot distance is one baseball width away from the Back Heel of your Back Foot.

As a conscious effort, you lift your Front Leg to make sure your Front Knee stays in front of your Front Hip.

Your Front Foot lift “balances” your weight just in front of your Back Foot and allows your Glove Hand to fire toward your intended target.

Your Glove Hand flips, your Lower Body drives your Throwing Hand, and you deliver the ball to your target with uncanny regularity.

FREE Instruction When We Can’t Get You into a Starting Positions!

Pro Pitching Institute is one of the top 100 baseball blogs on the Internet.

You have a natural pitching process built to deliver a much larger portion of your pitches directly to your intended target.

Bad Starts

Your Front Knee finishing behind your Front Hip puts your weight over your Back Foot and an undefined Glove Hand spot.

You can’t help but come out of this position with your Front Foot ahead of your Glove Hand.

You land your stride, get your Glove Hand out of the way, and deliver your pitch.

Your Throwing Hand working alone means the likelihood your ball goes to your target decreases exponentially.

Good Starts

A better Starting Position has your Front Knee finishing in front of your Front Hip and your Glove Hand starting under your Chin.

With your weight just in front of your Back Foot, your Glove Hand works ahead of your Front Foot.

Your Glove Hand ahead of your Front Foot causes you to land your stride, have your Glove Hand pop up, and deliver your pitch all at the same time.

Your pitch goes to your target with uncanny regularity.

FREE Instruction When We Can’t Get Your Stride to Be Right!

FREE Instruction When We Can’t Get Your Stride to Be Right!

Pro Pitching Institute is one of the top 100 baseball blogs on the Internet.

Learn a natural pitching process built to deliver a much larger portion of your pitches directly to your intended target.

Weight Over Your Back Foot

With your Feet greater than one baseball width apart, your Front Knee goes behind your Front Hip, and your weight goes over your Back Foot.

To get out of this position, your Throwing Hand offsets your Stride.

You land your Stride, then your Throwing Hand delivers the ball to your target.

Like throwing Darts, the ball goes where your Throwing Arm sends the pitch.

Better Yet Place Your Weight Just in Front of Your Back Foot

With your Feet placed one baseball width apart and your Thigh rotating outward, your Front Knee stays in ahead of your Front Hip.

Your Front Knee/Front Hip position keeps your weight just in front of your Back Knee.

From this position, your Glove Hand causes you to get your Lower Body into the pitch and make your “Stride and Throwing” the same action.

Your Lower Body pulls your Throwing Arm into release and sends the ball into your target with uncanny regularity.

FREE Instruction When We Can’t Get Your Head Positioned!

Pro Pitching Institute is one of the top 100 baseball blogs on the Internet.

To find your target with uncanny regularity, a natural pitching process built to keep your Head in the right position throughout your motion produces spectacular results.

Your Foot position gets your Head too far in front of or one baseball with from Back Heel.

Head In Front of Back Foot

When your Front Foot starts more than one baseball width from your Back Heel, your Head starts too far away from your Back Heel.

Your natural reaction becomes getting your Front Knee behind your Front Hip.

Your Head moves, you Stride, and then delivering your pitch.

Your ball takes an unpredictable path and produces inconsistent command.

Head Over Back Foot

When your Feet begin one baseball width from one another, your Head stays still.

Your natural response is lifting your Front Leg, so your Front Knee stays in front of your Front Hip.

With your Head in place, your Glove Arm starts your motion and fires your Lower Body.

Your Lower Body brings your Throwing Hand through a precise release point.

The ball then hits your target with uncanny regularity.

FREE Instruction When We Can’t Balance Your Weight!

Pro Pitching Institute is one of the top 100 baseball blogs on the Internet.

Your pitches going right to your target means your weight is evenly balanced.

Your misses are caused by your weight being out of balance.

Weight In Front of Your Body

Your weight to be out of balance turns out to be your Front Leg, Glove Hand, and Stride Foot location.

Your Front Leg needs to be in front of your Back Knee, your Front Leg going behind your Front Hip puts your weight over your Back Foot, and you compensate with your Glove Hand location.

You land your Stride and throw the ball to your target.

Weight In Front of Your Back Leg

To get your ball to your target with uncanny regularity, your pitch goes to your target with your weight in balance.

You create balance when your Front Knee begins in front of your Back Knee and your Front Leg finishes in front of your Front Hip.

Your Glove Hand takes you out of this balanced position, and your Lower Body pulls your Glove Hand into release.

Your Throwing Arm reacts to this motion, and you deliver the ball to your target.

FREE Instruction When We Can’t Get Your Glove Hand to Activate Your Delivery!

Pro Pitching Institute is one of the top 100 baseball blogs on the Internet.

No Glove Hand Activity

Due to your Starting Position, your Front Leg comes off the ground and your Knee begins behind your Front Hip.

To get out of this position, your Front Foot moves forward, extends your Foot, and hits the ground.

At the point your Front Foot hits the ground, your Glove hand balances your Body, and your Throwing Arm takes over to deliver the ball to your target.

Your aim depends upon the angle of your Front Foot in your Starting Position.

The chances the ball goes to the same point depend upon your Throwing Hand release.

Quality Glove Hand Activity

Due to your Starting Position, your Front Leg comes off the ground and your Front Knee consciously stays in front of your Front Hip.

To get out of this position, your Front Knee stays in front of your Front Hip and your Glove Hand moves your Lower Body.

When your Glove Hand clears your Lower Body, your Throwing Arm reacts to your Glove Hand and delivers the ball to your target with uncanny regularity.

FREE Instruction When We Can’t Correctly Position Your Front Leg!

Pro Pitching Institute is one of the top 100 baseball blogs on the Internet.

Your Front Foot Goes Behind Your Hip

In your Starting Position, your Front Leg finishing behind your Front Hip places your weight over your Back Foot.

With your weight over your Back Foot, your weight needs to get back in balance.

Your weight gets back in balance at your Foot Strike.

Your weight balanced at your Foot Strike finds your Throwing Hand working alone to get your ball to your target.

Your consistency suffers and the ball rarely finds your target.

Your Front Foot Lands Even With Your Back Foot

In your Starting Position, your Front Foot finishing even with your Back Foot centers your weight just to the front of your Back Foot.

With your weight in front of your Back Foot, your weight is in balance.

Now, to get your Body to move into your Throwing Action, you must shift your weight.

You shift your weight by sending your Glove Hand forward.

Your Glove Hand creates an imbalance to, at the same time, prompt your Foot Strike and Throwing Action.

Your pitch goes into your target with uncanny regularity.

FREE Instruction When We Can’t Turn Your Command into an Expectation!

Pro Pitching Institute is one of the top 100 baseball blogs on the Internet.

“Feeling” Your Motion

When you “feel” the way your Body moves, something gets in your way, and the ball misses your target.

“Feeling” the way your Body moves is like throwing darts.  Sometimes the dart goes where you want, but most of the time, the dart goes somewhere else.

Mechanics is not about “feeling” the way your Body naturally moves, mechanics is all about the way your Body to meant to move.

Command Is a Need

You want your motion to deliver the ball to your target, but your Lower Body presents an obstacle.

Your Lower Body doesn’t really rotate. All it does is land your Front Foot.

Your Front Foot lands and you go into your Throwing Motion.

Get your Lower Body involved, and the ball goes into your target.

Command As an Expectation

You get your Lower Body involved with your motion and there’s nothing stopping you from delivering the ball to your target.

Your Lower Body causes your Glove Hand to pull your Throwing Hand into release, and your release brings the ball to your target with uncanny regularity.

FREE Instruction When Your Body is Wrong!

Pro Pitching Institute is one of the top 100 baseball blogs on the Internet.

A good Back Knee, Front Heel, and Glove Hand Palm Position is all you need to command your pitching into your target with uncanny regularity.

Your Back Knee Position.

Your first step places your weight just in front of your Back Knee.

Your Back Knee needs to begin to the Second Base Side of your Back Foot.

Your Glove Palm Hand Position

Next, your Glove Hand position keeps your weight just in front of your Back Foot.

Your Glove Hand Palm position goes to center.

Your Front Heel Position.

Finally, by placing your Feet close to one another, your weight assuredly ends up just in front of your Back Foot.

Your Front Heel is close to your Back Heel.

Something is Wrong

Whenever you can’t hold your Starting Position and need to make a throwing action, something isn’t right.

Your Back Knee beginning over or ahead of your Back Foot, your Glove Hand Palm beginning in front of center, and your Front Heel too far away from your Back Heel causes you to make a throwing action.

Quality Instruction or You Don’t Pay!

Your Back Knee, Front Heel, and Glove Hand Palm positions produce command.
